I think that the Boston Bruins will make it extremely far this season. They are doing pretty good so far and their overall record right now is that they have won 42, lost 17 and went into overtime 5 times. They are most likely going to the Stanley Cup Championship with that record. They are in first place right now for their conference. I have confidence in them to win the Stanley Cup this season.
Considering the Bruins have been in first place in the Atlantic Conference for quite some time now I think that they will end up making it pretty far. They have 7 more wins than the second place team now so they are ahead by a pretty good amount. I think that this could definitely be a Stanley Cup winning year for the Bruins. I think that the team themselves and the fans expect them to make it pretty far at the rate their going, so if they don’t that will be a big disappointment.
The Bruins definitely have a chance at another Stanley Cup title this year. They are 2nd in the East, and closing in on the Penguins. The have one of the deepest rosters in the NHL, with Campbell, Thorton and Paille all contributing on the 4th line. They also have plenty of star power with all-worl players like Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara and David Kejci. This year's new additions such as Loui Erikson and up and coming stud Riley Smith could come in crucial in the final stretches of the playoffs.
While I would love to say I think they can win another championship, I think they are lacking in defensive depth. With Seidenberg out for the season, their defense has been a bit lackluster. Tuukka needs all the help he can get back there! With Johnson coming in clutch over the past few games, he has been able to get some much needed rest. But, I still think there is something missing in their defensive game. I miss Seidenberg.
Being a Boston fan in general i would love for them to win it all. But the bruins, as Mrs. Newell said are definitely lacking in the defense department.
Being a Boston fan all around I would love to see the Bruins take home another Stanley cup this season. After losing a key player like Seguin I think they will need to step it up and fix the missing gaps left to make it into the Stanley cup. If the bruins keep their winning streak I believe they have a very good chance in making to playoffs. The Bruins have to keep the momentum going and strengthen their defense because right now it’s lacking. I believe the Bruins have it in them to go all the way.
